BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

1938	Born on November 26th, Bordeaux, France, son of René and Madeleine.
1946-1954	Classical studies at Collège Sacré-Coeur – Bordeaux, France – writing and drawing prizes each year – member of the choir « Petits chanteurs à la Croix de Bois ».
1955-1956	Hostelry course at l'École hôtelière – Bordeaux, France.
1956	Music-Hall tour in France, as a dancer and music-hall artist.
1957-1958	French miltary service in Algeria and Morocco.
1959	Works as a dancer in the operetta « la Belle de cadix » - Théatre de la Gaîté-Lyrique - Paris, France.
1960	First sejourn in Canada – will tour many important cities including Montréal as a music-hall artist.
1960-1961	In United states appears on various stages as a music-hall artist – New York's Radio City Music-Hall;Washington, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami.
1961-1968	Returns to France and starts a very successful career as a choreogapher and stage director – France, Italy, Spain, Germany.
1967	Works as a melody writer for « Édition French Music » in Paris. Acts as a stage director for several singers.
1967-1971	Lives in Spain, works as a stage and television choreographer.
1971	Returns to France and works in the same fields.
1974	Chrographer and stage director of the « Gala des Étoiles » for the benefit of Unicef – Rome, Italy.
1975	Birth of son Axel.
1979	Having never stopped drawing and painting since college, and further to a comment made by an critic in Rome, he begins to paint professionally.
1980	Modern Art Prize – City of New-York, United Nations – United States.
1982	Unanimously the jury bestowed him with the HAVOL Prize – Seine-et-Marne, France Also, the public second Prize Special Riviera Prize – San Remo, Italy.
1983-1986	Lives in Spain where he establishes his career as a painter as well as receiving several prizes for his paintings.
1983	Guest of honour – City of Cannes, France. Finalizes his pictorial technique which he call « Universal Valérisme ». Modern Art prize – Barcelona, Spain. Selected for the anniversary catalogue of the most creative painters – Tarragona, Spain.
1984	Conference on modern art and « Universal Valérisme » - Salvador College – Barcelona, Spain. Tribute paid by the deputation of Tarragona, Spain, through its president Sr. Gomis. The Radio Grenada prize – Spain.
1984	The first Ricard Prize with singer Camilo – Madrid, Spain.
1985	Grand Prize from the Genova Financial Club, for the best exhibition in 1984 – Madrid, Spain. Conference on modern art and « Universal Valérisme » - College Berriz – Madrid, Spain. Named Ambassador of the « Commune libre de Montmartre » for its preservation - Madrid, Spain. Painting selected for the Museum of Modern Art – Tarragona, Spain.
1986	Establishes himself at Nuns' Island, south of Montreal, from where he alternates with Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
1988	Sponsors a six-year old child from Chad.
1989	Sponsors the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
1990	Tribute paid by Ste-Rose Lincoln Mercury Inc. And by Mr. Guy Ricard, federal deputy – Laval, Canada. Begins a parallel career as a sculptor, glass-aluminium, with the master glassmaker Robert Pierni – Biot, France.
1991	Mr. Michel de Kerdour of the Galery de Kerdour, in Juan-les-Pins, becomes the exclusive agent for Claude Valéry in France. Selected to illustrate the labels for three great wines from « Vignobles de Vacqueyras » - France. Fellow of the « Troubadour provençal », Fraternity of Vacqueyras' Wine-Growers Mr François Demers, president of Galerie l'Or du Temps in Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts, Quebec, becomes the exclusive agent of Claude Valéry for Canada.
1992	First exhibit of Claude Valéry's most recent paintings and sculptures at the Galerie de Kerdour – Juan-les-Pins, France. Also in preparation, exhibitions in Frankfurt, California and Japan.
1993	Exhibition in Monaco (Principauté de Monaco). Guest of Honor and Vice Chairman of the Jury Grand Prix International City Nice. Guest of Honor of the 14th Exhibition of Painting and Sculture in Villeneuve-Loubet (Nice). Exhibition Toronto and Vancoover (Gallery Exclusive Summit-Canada). Guest of Honor 1994 Cannes Film Festival by the Mayor of Cannes. Exhibition at the Palais des Festivals for a Sculture named “Tribute to film” Crystal and Aluminium (with patented “sculptalusili”).
1995	Exhibition Montreal-Toronto-Edmond (canada).
1996	Awards “Budget” creativity ABELA Hotel – Nice. Guest of Honor at the Bel Age Festival at the Palais des Festival in Cannes with David Soul. Special Guest Forum Euro Expo at the Palais des Congres in Cannes. Tribute Exhibition in 1997 and a restros^pective of work by Valery Antique Gallery in Nice on the patronage of Senator-Mayor of Nice and the Deputy Chairman of the Culture and the Regional Council PACA.
1998-1999	Creation of pictorial and structural (Creation of Sculpture 7m in height 3,90m width and 1,80m in length, composed of 16 helis Bronze, steel tubes), provied with a stong interest by the City under the tutelage of Mr. Giulianni for the Port of New York which was canceled after the events of September 11th.
1999-2000	Travel Studies Great Britain, UAE (Dubai).
2001-2002	Work on Future lines Sculptures, new techniques).
2003	Exhibition Briançon (France). Art Space Exhibition sponsored by the Community of Andalusia and City Hall of Jerez.
2005-2006	Year dedicaded to Eduardo Fernandez. Working on new techniqies with lighting an materials for preparing International Exhibition. Work Sculpture new generation (Aluminium). decoration of Cabaret and Piano-Bar (Spain). Picture manager in Madrid.
2007	Exhibition in Guadalajara. Jury Price for sculpture “Homage to the cycle”.
2008-2009	Claude Valery is dedicate to an exclusive and private clientele.
2010	Preparing to release its own line of clothing and fashion luxury accessories.
